  • “She’s an extraordinary girl in an ordinary world & she can’t seem to get away.” –Green Day-

Today I started seeing a therapist. His name is Jeff. I feel like I should call him Dr. Jeff. Halfway through the session, his office started to smell vaguely of peat moss. The downstairs of the hospital smelled like ham & cheese sandwiches & the elderly. Outside it smelled like those plastic bubbles you blow off of sticks when you’re a little kid. Jeff thinks I have attention & anxiety problems.

I miss the Fridge Kids & double-dogging random hot dog bags. Summer can’t come soon enough. Once you go wwFAC you never go back.

I’m renting movies from the library. Lots of them. I’m almost done with the fifth season of Buffy, which I never even liked when it was in syndication but quite enjoy when I can watch it commercial-free. Also, The Prince & Me, Ray, Wicker Park, Alfie, The Birdcage, Igby Goes Down. I’ll be a lean, mean, jobless movie-watching machine. Pathetic? Probably.

    ((()))

Yesterday was two months. I thought of songs all day. Good ones like Lifehouse’s “Breathing” or Dashboard’s “This Ruined Puzzle.” And I stole daffodils from a church. Shady? Maybe. He would have thought it was funny, because it was.

Happy 22nd Birthday to my good friend, the lovely Miss Ann Marie! Geez, you’re getting OLD!

  • Hope the therapy thing works out...  God knows I could use a good shrink.

I love getting movies from the library because they're FREE.  But you need to come over and watch The Goodbye Girl, the GOOD version.  Maybe sometime this week?  Ttyl.

  • The 6 months I was an unemployed blob on the couch I did nothing but watch movies. I think that's what you're supposed to do.

  • At least they sound like good, enthralling movies.

therapy can be really awesome. the first times are weird though.

  • I don't even have a library card.  Isn't that sad?

  • Keep us posted on how the therapy sessions are going.

That's a good idea, renting from the library.  It's free that way, isn't it?
I'm sure he would have thought stealing the flowers from a church was funny.

    Those are excellent songs.

  • i cant agree with you more on the water works thing, thats all im looking forward to this summer lol. cant wait to see everyone there bright and early sporting those hott teal shirts!!

  • im gonna be working w/ you this summer!!

  • thanks for what you put on my site, it means a lot. i miss you like whoa. could use some good katy hugs.

  • I was wondering where you went.

How are you liking therapy? I went to a therapist very long ago, but I was about 16 and she was a children's therapist so that wasn't very helpful.

  • you're pretty much livin it up. school is for suckers.

  • Now you can join the ranks of the rest of the unemployed young adults here...."I'm Claire and I'm unemployed." (*follows with...*) "Hi, Claire."

Okay, I'm retarded and am not running on enough sleep. Anyway, I hope everything is going well for you!

  • You shady daffodil theif, you!  I saw a psychologist for a while back in high school.  It was kinda fun, although a bit awkward.  She would ask me how I felt, and I would say, "fine".  Then she would ask, "And what do you mean by saying you feel 'fine'?"  I didn't quite know how to respond.  Hope things go better for you.

By the way, you chose some pretty good movies.  I thought I was the only person in the world who knew about Igby Goes Down.  It's kinda tragic, isn't it?

  • Igby Goes Down is one of my favorite movies ever. Why its denoted as 'Comedy' is still beyond me, though.

    miss you...

  • If you havn't already seen it, try "Life As A House"....It's an amazing movie and one of my all time fav's...And not to forget, it features an amazingly cute Canadian, Hayden Christiansen.  Eh???

  • I love The Birdcage. Super funny!

You're super right about the Umm.. new Looney Tunes. (I forget their names!)

    Take care
