  • “Better off I sparkle on my own.” –Anna Nalick-

I burned my forearm on the pretzel tray at work. It blistered & it’s disgusting but I’m sort of obsessed with because it’s sort of in the shape of the Girl Scout logo. Matt says if you’re gonna get burned, it should at least be a cool scar.

While discussing the success of memorable acronyms like ROY G. BIV, the following conversation ensued.

Me: “Yeah, those work so well. Like, HOUSE. For the Great Lakes.”

    Kevin: “You mean… HOMES???”

Sean: “Guess it didn’t work so well.”

And then, we discussed word plays meant to help you remember things, i.e. the order of the planets.

Kevin: “The one for that is My Very Good Mother Just Made Us Nine Pizzas.”

Sean: “No, it’s My Very Educated Mother Ju---“

Me:Educated? What planet starts with E?!!”

    Sean: “Are you joking?”

     ((()))

I played in a sprinkler today with my neighbors’ granddaughters… while fully clothed. Yeah, I can rock it like a 6-year old, too, folks.

This just in: I love my life. I mean, really. This is the good shit. And on that note, I’m peacin’ the eff out. XOXO.

  • I got burned on my upper-inner-right-arm (lol nice, I know), and it was a small, upside-down triangle, with a line on top of it (corner and edge of a tray). It looked like a cult-marking. I still have the hauss scar.

  • Haha, you crack me up. I didn't know there was an acronym for the planets, I only learned the song. What about the one for the musical scale...every good boy does fine?

  • Hi, I just saw the comment that you left on my site last month. I bet you don't even remember leaving a comment :) And that post isn't even up anymore. It was about psych wards. ROY G BIV, I haven't heard that one in a LONG time. All those chemistry memories I've repressed! I'm glad you're loving life. Keep it up.

  • Kevins mom taught me " My Very Good Mother Just Made Us Nine Pizzas".

  • my biology techer in high school, mr ettinger, taught us one for the kingdom phylum class, etc thing. it went something like kinky people call others for something something. it seems strange that he would tell us something like that, now that i think about it.

  • i DO love my job.  hardcore.  who else would take massive girl-scout-shaped burns for their art?  mmhmm, only us.

yay for loving your life.  i love mine, you love yours, everyone should love our lives as much as we do!

  • I learned that my mother was very eccentric while serving us nine pizzas, but yours can be educated if you want.

By the way, upon finishing this blog, I am stuck with the image of a girl running through the sprinkler in slow motion with cheesey "inspirational" music in the background.  It's funny as hell.

Glad things are good for you!  *pounds heart twice* Peace out!

  • I saw you at Applebees

  • So, I really didn't see you like at all this weekend, but hopefully soon.  Call me if you want to hang out, do a movie night, go eat (Quaker for that matter), etc...  Tty soon!

  • I am in love with Anna Nalick's new song.

  • yea the music scale is one.. the lines are EGBDF - every good boy does fine
