Rocky Horror sure was insanity. I’ve never been so confused in my life, but I looked like an 80’s rockstar so it was alright, & Brian wore a camisole & garters. You know you’ve had a crazy night when you wake up with piles of rice on your pillow & even more stuck in your hair.

The 4th of July (a.k.a. my favorite holiday, all memories aside) was phenomenal. I went over to Brian’s & hung with some FAC people (also Kevin & Sean), where we drank & participated in some chicanery, including a game of strip flipcup. I left early (& fully clothed) but apparently the night held lots of nakedness for those who stuck around. Also, someone besides us Kitchen Bitches prepared weiners & there was a big brawl that resulted in a hospital run for Vart.

I’m wondering when Social Studies class turned into History class. Like, after 8th grade? And why? And what classifies as “social studies,” anyway? Shouldn’t that be a Soc/Psych class or something?

Today was the best day off ever- I spent the whole thing with Kevin doing various things including a viewing of Mr. & Mrs. Smith & a trip up to Quaker with some fun kids. I feel like I hadn’t relaxed in forever- it felt great to lounge around all day with the boytoy.

    ((()))

On a serious note, it’s sad when “friends” find something better to do that involves no longer being there for their real friends. It’s sad when partying comes first & bonding comes last, when fun takes priority over real friendship. That said, I’m over it if you are… and clearly you are.

    I’m looking forward to:

    ·         Pizza Hut tomorrow with my fave FAC’ers to visit Miss Kristin

    ·         Getting my hair cut & colored & no longer looking like a shaggy dog

    ·         Getting my tattoo fixed/added to tomorrow

    ·         Kev’s party on Saturday night (wanna come? just ask!)

    ·         Toni’s fiesta on Sunday afternoon

    ·         The 4400 with Annie on Sunday night

    ·         Vartapalooza next week (I FAC parties)

  • yeah...i've always wondered that too...what the hell does social studies actually mean?! but hm...now that i think about it...and my mind that bs' so well is thinking...maybe it's like...all the cultural acquistions of the world which make up the nationalities/ethnicities and uh...we study that...so it's like the cultural stuff? lol...that was horrible :P

  • I had a teacher tell us that it was his last year before he retired, so we were just supposed to "socially study" each other for most of the class (aka talk).  It was kinda cool.

And I have woken up with far worse things stuck in my hair (get your mind out of the gutter!)  Try waking up with wet flour (paste) in your hair.  It was fun to sling 200lbs of wet flour at my friends, but not fun to wash my hair the next day.

  • ok so I finally got it, I knew Kevin looked like someone but I couldn't put my finger on it but after looking at your site and seeing some of your pictures of him I realized who he reminds me of, Shaun Hunter from boy meets world....don't be mad at me for saying that, it's a good thing.

  • *I always thought Kevin looked like Rider Strong! I've thought that since 5th grade! Now I know I'm not alone... haha! Glad you had a good time at Rocky Horror and the 4th of July. I never understood the meaning of social studies either, and I give the guy from comment #1 some props for trying to explain it!*

  • I think Social Studies became History when "reports" became "papers"....Luv ya loads...Woo Hoo for the 4400!!..

  • last night was one of the better nights i've had in a while.  umm, you definitely forgot to mention wet hot american summer, which was your idea and a highlight of my life.  "did you just say dick cream?"

i'm getting my hurr did here pretty soon.  it'll be nice to not look like a freaking yeti anymore.

  • you think your hair looks bad...you should see mine. i look like i have a shaggy boy mullet haircut that i have to wear half up so i dont look like a creepy hilljack with a crazy whack hairdo.

  • it was the fine...and i am a horibel (on purpose) speller...i knew that it was poor tho

  • Ah Rocky Horror, theres nothin like waking up with a lipstick "V" on your forehead that wont come off:)

  • Glad you had a good holiday weekend.  Mine was spent mostly with various family (so it was good and bad ).  I'm going bowling tonight, which I'm super psyched for so I can actually see my friends!  Love ya...  you better be there tonight.
