Picked up the new Kanye CD & it basically kicks your ass.
I got stood up for lunch today & kind of wandered the Hub aimlessly. I saw Conor but he was with some friends & I didn’t want to be the lame “Oh, uhhh, do you wanna sit with us?” girl, so I never made eye contact.

I work at the Nat allll weekend so I can’t even go to the Rib Burn-Off (for real this time). Kevin says he’s pretty sure it’s called the Rib Cook-Off, because “burn-off” sounds like they’re scorching the meat or something.
I want to listen to my mp3 player while I walk across campus and, believe me, I’ve tried… but I can’t get my headphones to fit in my ears properly. Yeah, I know I’m sweet & extra-intelligent. Seriously, I’ve tried two pairs & neither of them goes in my ears right. EFF.

yeah secretly i'm sort of the odd-man-out on campus too. it's a crazy weird feeling. i mean, i know a few people here (namely my brother, haha) but i don't see anyone very often and i don't live here, so that's a whole big different issue altogether. anyway, i hope things are going your way in general... i feel like a huge piece of poop because i have a b-day thing for you at my house that i have yet to send... yet i misplaced your address from my b-day package. arggggh. but yes, i'm happily in happy land (for the most part, i mean what does that really mean anyway) and i hope you are too. i miss you! xoxoxo.

are they coming anywhere near ohio, because i would be up for a road trip. my roommate's driving to nashville on the 16th to see coldplay, so it wouldn't be entirely unheard of.
i have a dell dj too. it's nice and cheap, but the music uploading software SUCKS big time. it almost ruined my laptop. i might sell it on ebay to get money to buy an ipod. i'm an apple sellout.
Haha, yesterday I was eating lunch on campus, and I also had no one to sit with, it's so awkward when that happens. I really don't mind sitting by myself, but I hate it when people come over to me and say, "Awww, do you want someone to sit with?" Like it's such a pity that I have to listen to my own thoughts during a meal. Anyway, next time pretend like you're reading a book, that's what I always do.

I definitely got stood up for lunch today too-- stupid classes getting in the way of lunch dates! I could never get my iPod headphones to stay in my ears until one night I fell asleep holding them in and my ears must have molded to them or just learned to obey my command because they've fit since then. Haha.
