Right now I'm sitting in the basement of the Student Center, debating whether or not to go to Hillel's Chanukah party in the Rat. As their newest intern, I ought to... but I'm scared because I don't know anyone. Jews always have tight little groups. Being the outcast Jew is never, ever a good time.

I'm being a total overachiever in my Newswriting class- I already have my entire final project done, for the most part. It's a good feeling, to not have to freak out about something at the very last minute.
I got a freaking parking ticket today, because I parked my car at a meter & forgot about it. Damn itttt. Like I have $15 to spare.

My fab boyfriend took me to Chipotle today for lunch... & it was nice to finally have some one-on-one time, because it's so rare for us these days.
Lauren wants 5 random quirks about me, so here goes:
- I dip my Oreos in water because milk changes the way they taste. Water just makes them soggy, which is how they taste best.
- I crack my knuckles & joints compulsively. I can't stop myself, even when my mom screams at me. If I do one, I have to do them all- there's no stopping.
- I grind my teeth in my sleep. I had a dentist-made mouthguard for it, but I lost it at OU so now I wear a hockey mouthguard to bed. Hot, I know.
- I don't like listening to music I don't know, which extends to new CDs that I buy/download. It takes me forever to get around to listening to them, because I dislike things I don't know the words to yet.
- When parallel parking, I have to run over the curb before I'll park. otherwise, I never think I'm close enough.

Mmm Chipotle. How I miss it hehe. There are NONE in the entire state of PA. However, good that you guys got to spend some together, that's always nice.
i crack my knuckles and toes compulsively, too. it's awful, but i have to do it. i ALSO wear a dentist-issued mouthguard for teeth-grinding, but i would never, ever lose it because it cost too much damn money.
Aww yay for new friends! I bit holes all the way through my retainer and sometimes grind my teeth w/ my cheek in there... and finals only makes it worse. Here's to sexy nighttime mouthgear!

I want to go to a Chanukah party this holiday season...I've never been, and would like to have the experience. You should totally throw one when everyone is home when the semester is over.

2. knuckle cracking is awesome... if i moved in, we could tag-team joyce with the insanity of joint cracking... it would be sweet.
