  • “I’m the narrator & this is just the prologue.” –Panic! at the Disco-

Vegas was splendid. A list of my faves is as follows:

§          The four-hour plane ride where I snoozed both ways

§          The Bellagio fountains, especially dancing to the Hallelujah Chorus

§          The fact that pop music is always playing throughout the city, like a perma-soundtrack

§          The outdoor escalators to cross the streets

§          The gigantor Sephora, the hilarious David & Goliath store & all the rich stores I can’t afford

§          The outfit I wore to the Radio Music Awards

§          Seeing SNOOP (wearing Chucks!) & Ricky Martin perform

§          The kickass buffet at our hotel

§          The New York, New York hotel built to look like the NYC skyline

§          Our “backyard” filled with penguins & flamingoes

§          Having time to finish 2 Mary Higgins Clark books

    Non-faves were also as follows:

§          My phone not working that far away, so I couldn’t hang out with Korrie

§          The Bellagio fountains dancing to Carol of the Bells

§          Losing money on the slot machines

§          Getting into lots of fights with my mom

§          Getting sick from over-eating at the buffet

§          Kelly Clarkson not being at the RMAs

    §          Three-hour jetlag like whoa

But I’m glad to be home. I don’t do well on vacations away from my friends. I think I’m pretty dependent on them. Oops. Thanks to Brian & Kev for taking care of the house & my rides to & from the airport.

Today, I applied for a credit card & finished Christmas shopping. Sunday, I’m having Christmas dinner with the McGarveys. On Monday, Annie & I are having us-time by going to see Memoirs of a Geisha together. I’m really excited…I love movies & one-on-ones.

I’m also really excited for New Year’s Eve with (most of) my crew, even we’ll be slightly incomplete without Tav. I hope all goes well & that this is one to remember—for the right reasons!

  • If I had aa nickel for everytime I was drunk and whining aboutt missing you...

Well... I'd have a lot of goddamn nickels, that for sure. (currently adding one up on the nicfkel front)

(P.S. the handicap mirror dangle (??) we found" in Siegfried has done wonders for the Christmas shopping, parking lot mania. Im going to hell right?)

    Missssss you!

  • Dude. I was like "why isn't Katie answering her phone!?" Now I know. LOL

I heart the Bellagio Fountains. I was going to warn you about all the porn peddlers, but I forgot. Coincidentally, I ate at the buffet at Flamingo like 2 or 3 days before you got there. Flamingo by far has the best buffet. Paris has the best breakfast buffet.

  • i wanted to come and say i hope everything is going well for you, merry christmas and other such holidays, HAVE FUN!

  • you look GREAT in that tulle skirt!!! I'm going to go ahead and tell you who I am, even though I still have one thing to send, and I apoligize for it being after christmas, but anyways, here is my site:

You know, I've never read your site before the secret santa thing, but I've enjoyed your site a lot, and I hope you enjoy mine. I post protected, so just leave a comment or sub to my page to be added. I am so glad you had a great trip and that sucks that Kelly Clarkson wasn't there. But at least you had a kick ass time!!!

  • ok, pretty sure i am totally jealous of you outing to vegas...

                 and the RMA's

and i was also hoping i could spot you on TV or something

          but damn, you looked hot!

    love you.

    happy hanukkah!

  • happy chanukah, kate!

  • i have another package that i need to send out to you, w/ more stuff in it, haha, i went crazy, I had fun, you and i are alot alike, we like the same stuff, so you know, it was easy to buy for!!!! Happy Chanukah!!!

  • oh and yes it is a relief to get grades, specially when ONE is up in the air, that C, wow, I'm glad its a C!!!! but i'm a little disappointed in that B is should have been an A, but hey, I'm not going to complain about a B!!! I hope I can just do all A's next semester or nothing lower than a B, so I can hopefully walk w/ close to a 4.0 in the spring, and finish w/ closer to a 4.0 in the summer, so that when I transfer to another school in the fall i can get money from them!!! haha...
