I got a position as a columnist for the summer Stater. They said we’d have to work something out for while I’m gone, but I think maybe D.C. will give me some cool material. And anyway, the job is via email, so it should still work.
The banquet is Friday & I’m wearing this gorgeous dress I bought off eBay (see picture). Adam & I will kind of match because he’s wearing a blue suit, so we may look all senior prom-ish, but whatev. Who didn’t love senior prom? & who doesn’t love getting drunk with Elise & Adam?!

Stream of consciousness for the other subject on my mind that I cannot otherwise discuss: Who are these people & why do they think I’m qualified for this? They don’t me know; they don’t know what I am & am not capable of. Then again, do I know what I am or am not capable of? I’m flattered & I’m terrified & I’m confused & I’m proud… but mostly I want to know who decided I was ready to be thrown into this.

My husband used to live in these townhouses over on Summit, out towards Dix Stadium, that were super-nice. The downside (maybe) is that you live with like, five other people, but they're huge and really new (new appliances, etc) and everyone I ever met in the complex was really really nice. I think he paid like, $200-$250/month for rent and utilities. He's still in contact with one of the guys that he used to live with, so if you want, he can get more info for ya...

"cabaret" is on may 18 and 19 (a thursday and friday) at 8pm. it costs $6 and is at arts west out on west state st. (i think it's at the fork in the road right before shafer st.) i would lovelovelove it if you could come!
the outer banks in north carolina. it's one of my favorite places in the world, sooo hopefully things aren't ruined. and i am having a BLAST getting ready for "cabaret"! the dancing is so hard, i love it, haha.
I dont even want to do go brandtson because their new CD si so bad.
