  • “Now it seems that things are really getting better in my life. How do you feel? (I feel good)” –N.E.R.D.-

    I got an A on my first Ethics paper! The professor questioned my “enterprise” as a reporter because I only used two sources to find six articles, but most of the archival Web sites charge to read their stuff, & I’m not paying $30 just to get sources for a paper… Anyways, I’m pumped. My friend Meg got a D & I wish we could split our grades, like have her take part of my points, so she could have a C & I’d have a B…

    Yesterday a super-polite (read: bitchy as hell) patron told me to “fuck off” & then went to the front desk to tell Mallory that I was incompetent. She claimed I was talking to my friends on the phone & that she had to wait “for 30 seconds” for me to help her. This is bull, because I was on the phone with another (very friendly) patron. Regardless, I want to know why so many angry people frequent the Natatorium.

    I’ve discovered a love for MySpace. It’s lame, yes, but I’ve found people on it I never would have reconnected with otherwise, like my Jennie & Ian McInnes. It’s nice to talk to old, familiar faces.
    ((()))

    Speaking of old, familiar faces, my bestest, Christina, left for Tennessee this afternoon. We had Chipotle take-out together yesterday & when I left her, I had this creepy, sinking feeling that I wouldn’t see her for quite a while… She’s so happy with Adam & her Mission friends, & I love that. I wonder, though, when we’ll meet up again. Times really do change, huh?

    she wants to move
    but you’re hoggin’ her;
    you’re guardin’ her

  • it's not just the nat. it's any job that requires customer service. giant eagle, especially the one where i work. niles. hillbillies. the customer is most definitely not always right.

    chipotle sounds soooooo good.

  • i hate customer service jobs...which of course means every job ever. you should've seen some of the retards that frequented the ice rink -- oh wait, you probably do at the nat. they suck.

  • bugmenot.com helps get past Time and Newsweek archive fees - people set up ghost accounts on there all the time.
