Did the cat bite you or scratch you? If it bit you and broke the skin get yourself to a doctor - fast.
Even if it just scratched you, I'd keep a close eye on it. Cats are not as clean as they would lead you to believe with all that washing they do. They carry ickiness in their mouths and claws!
Remember: Cat scratch fever isn't just a song by Ted Nugent.
