That’s what today is really for, right? Remembering? Not parades or shopping or a day off of school. It’s really about rememberance… and with joy rather than sorrow. I have four guardian angels- we should all be so blessed…

  • Yeah alot of people these days dont celebrate most holidays for their real meaning.  Glad to see that you do.

  • *That’s awesome, Kate. You’re totally right. I’m glad I got to see him with you today. I believe that everytime you’re there with someone, they can see and hear you and I really hope he did. You got some good guardian angels out there, Kate*

  • this is really touching, kate.  i think memorial day is the holiday that most loses its original meaning — you have really brought it back to where it should be.  you’re lucky to have four such wonderful guardian angels.

  • Beautiful. Truly beautiful.

  •  looks like you were blessed. i`m sorry for your losses. =[

  • I went out to the cemetary on Saturday to put flowers on Grandma and Grandpa’s site.  It looked beautiful and I also put flowers on my great-grandma’s grave and my grandpa’s brother, even though I didn’t know them.  There’s something about showing that someone’s legacy was special to someone.
