  • “I live on both sides of the fence, & the grass is always green.” –‘Lucky Number Slevin’

I wonder if Xanga is a bad idea, if this whole blogging thing is a horrible idea. People read these snippets of my life, snippets that really don’t in any way define the whole picture of my life or of myself as a person, & they come to all these assumptions. Assumptions about who I am & how I think & what my state of mind might be.

This weekend has been a bit of a disaster.

My mom says: “You can never go back.”

My grandma says: “You know what you left behind.”

My friend Aaron says: “Not all people are good people.”

My friend Kevin says: “I don’t even get it.”

My friend Sam says: Something to the effect of “Beat bitches dowwwn.”

So is Xanga a bad idea? Do you people think you know too much about my life? I mean, you don’t know me just by reading this (unless you already know me), so how can you read my semi-daily rants & think this is (all of) who I am?

  • I don't think this is all of who you are. I think you just write what you're feeling and what's on your mind or little recaps of days or events that maybe you need to vent on or get out how you feel about something...or maybe just to remember a certain day. Like do you ever sit around and go back and read old entries...maybe from years prior and you sometimes think "wow I remember that day..." just from reading your words? I don't think Xanga is a bad idea. I may forget to write in mine a lot, but I like it as a place to just get out how I'm feeling, rant about something, or just put memories of a day or event into words so that I can remember or so that my friends might kind of understand how I'm feeling or maybe understand just a little bit what my life is like...it's not the whole thing, but it's a teaser. As to whether it's bad for YOU or not is up to you to decide. Way out the pros and the cons of it.

  • i am a coach whore, and i am proud of it! =)

  • Reading this makes me realize there are other people out there who don't have perfect lives. It makes me feel less alone. Weird. I know. But it does.
